my pick: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
(3-way standoff)
The brief limitations:
-minimal voice over or none at all
-only 1 character
-represent a distinct genre of film
My idea around the 3-way standoff,
because the restriction of the brief is to have one character playing
with 2 sock puppets. This way, although there is only one character
to design, the scene would actually play as if 3 distinct characters
are having a staring contest.
I want to turn this intense wetsern
scene into a modern family movie comedy, with the main character
being a little girl playing with her puppet toys.
