Change of mind about the genre: Im
going for fantasy. Setting would be 1800s London like city and the
little girl, Flora is a poor orphan. She performs a puppet show in
the street to earn a few pennies. She builds her puppets with
everyday finds from the street and the design of the puppets should
include accessories reminiscent of Flora's Era. She can perform in
front of a toy store window shop. One day her puppets will start
talking on their own. Flora hears them and picks them up. The staring
contest 5 second scene (the good the bad and the ugly reference)
starts then and eventually the puppets start talking again. Flora is
delighted and the puppet show gains in popularity. The colours of the
city are dull and dark, but when Flora and her puppets perform, an
enchanting light and saturation in colours happen, the public takes
great pleasure in watching, as if a spell is mesmerizing everyone. At
the peak of popularity of the show, every kid in town trade their
fancy toys for sock puppets and the toy store hires little Flora to
perform for them.
